), I should ask what the frameset was, odd that it might have needed just one drop bolt?
I don't think it was all that uncommon for a period. There was a reason frames were built with uneven brake reach front to rear, I think, but I can't remember what it was. Usually the rear needed the drop bolt, I believe.
