Target bikes are what they are...good for the money and not that good. I would go the used route and get a Trek 800 or a Specialized Crossroads. Under $100 and a hell of a ride. Go to Craigslist and or Ebay and spot it up. Local newspapers too. Bike stores always try to sell you crap. Thats what they do. Old Schwinns before Pacific are so much better!
