I have used trunk racks (Allen 103A) and both Thule and La Pre Alpina (remember those?) roof racks and inside my van. on top is my favorite, it is easy to lock and out of harms way unless you roll over
OH much to my dismay, these two bikes spent a 3day weekend in a tow yard after a bad accident. I was worried to death over them but between being inside the van and 10ft fence I assume no one even saw them.
