I Checked my serial number against the
L N L N L N N method listed on vintage trek and it seems my bike is a 21" frame made in january of 1980..i dont have the model number as the first letter is not visible and the first number was barely visible. It is stated on the site that this is a common issue. I'm not sure if it helps anything, but this bike has the mounting holes for fenders and/or a rack. This bike is also a twelve speed as it has 6 rear cogs. If anyone has any thoughts as to the model that would help.
