Carbs are actually more easily converted too fat than protein .The key is not too eat a great exess of calories in any form over what you expend.Protein and fats have other necessary functions in addition to energy production while carbs are solely an energy source and you should only eat enough carbs too top off your glycogen(muscle energy)stores and no more or it goes straight to fat.
