Oh.....one last thing. I've noticed a difference using 27 x 1" and 700cx28's on my Bottecchia. The 27's by far take road bumps better. They're not as quickly responding in some cases, but again....that "grace" is there, the bike is just as fast, and IMO seems to be easier to keep the momentum going once it's going. Downhill....I'm a screamin' rocket!!

Edit: And, yes, we're talkin' equal tire pressure.
