I'm not gonna say the Cheng Shins I reference are as good as Paselas, Conti's, etc. as far as durability. But, what do you pay? Here, atleast, expect around $50-$60/set for the better tire. Dude....the Cheng Shins are not that bad. I only discovered them because I needed a tire after LBS hours and guess who was open? I was surprised how well that tire has held up after a year. Though, I don't don 27's on my Trek right now, as soon as I can rebuild my rear wheel, they're going back on.....Cheng Shin style. $30 for set and I've got something left over. Some folks don't necessarily need the best or the better, even. Life's too short to be worryin' about it.
