Ahh, the wonderful internet. Guess I'm Pickled-Tink to have discovered 50+, WOO-HOO!

Having perused the threads here has been more than enlightening, you folks coming back
from medical conditions are awesome, keeping a tight riegn on sheer will and
determination is what I am currently facing, thanls to a "massive,MASSIVE heart attack".
I lost 60% of the muscle.
Needless to say, it's spurred some serious soul searching. My cardio rehab has been
somewhat successful in the fact that I just love to pedal, early teens revisited so to speak.
However, being that my life is rampant with "obstical illusions", my left knee flared to more
than twice it's normal size. Oh Yes! Shoots biggie pain from hip to foot. Dagon-blasted stairs
are not my friend.

So a great big THANKS to ALL for biting the bullit. Handy to know I'm not alone.

So my maiden voyage was all of a mile and a half, rolling hills, not bad.

Today, 1/4 mile steep grade, OUCH, but I made the top. Don't have much flatland here,
just terrain that should challenge the most accomplshed riders, Awesome roads with excellent views,
right on PA bike route #9

So I'm 64 years young seeking to tour the world before I croak! Happy Trails!
