Shoulder's still sore ... tore something I think, but I rode for the first time yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Tacoed front wheel. Mini-taco in the rear ... not sure if I can fix it. That's the advantage of a small bike budget .... they were cheap wheels. I need to scrounge some rims and I can build them back up.
I guess I'll ride my even cheaper wheels in the race this Sunday.... I've got no form anyway at this point.
There's always the "bathtub" adjustment for taco treatment. The edges of the tub are round enough to support flexing the rim back into shape somewhat. I've saved one wheel that way. Was never quite right, but the spoke tensions got happy, and it lasted a long time after that.
