I even prefer the good old M-frame (Oakley) when I ski, so that's a no-brainer to me. Naturally, I have both but I only use the goggles when it snows badly or is super-cold. EDIT: ...or in powder, as illustrated in the old avatar I'm using (I'd hate to loose them M-frames in the snow...); it was a nice day, so I went with a regular helmet rather than my full helmet.
The reason I prefer M-frames is that they aren't as hot and over time don't get as sweaty.
