Yo Brad - welcome. I grew up on the east side of the Catskills between Newburgh and New Paltz and still have family there. I began cycling with a $60 consignment store bike that got me hooked. That bike did not fit, I subsequently found out, but I was still amazed by how quickly and silently it rolled along. This is mostly a very good place to hang but, not surprisingly, there are a few idiots. Fortunately, not too many of those or there would be not point to this website. There is much good information for problem solving and everyone is happy to help. I spend most of my time on the 50+ forum as I'm an old timer wherever I go.
