Two basic hand positions. Generally on the handgrips when standing and climbing. Then, a more elongated and narrowed position with palms covering the hoods when on flats and rollers, mild climbs.

So long as I am pedaling with a moderate degree of power, everything is very well balanced. No cramps or numbness that a quick shake wont take care of.

However, this is the worlds worst bike to take on a recovery ride. Fast cadence, light effort pedaling is absolute
misery.
