OK, here's my "Commutility" bike:
58cm, 26" wheel LHT
Topeak rear rack, CETMA front (under the toilet paper)
Ortlieb motorcycle panniers converted to bike panniers with Ortlieb hardware
1x7 drivetrain using old SunTour parts in friction mode
Civia bars and stem (steerer tube still uncut pending more experiments)
Schwalbe Big Apple tires 26x2.0
It's great for all sorts of stuff, and looks dorky enough that I can commute on it and leave it locked up all day with no threat of someone stealing it.
