From what I've heard, last year after one of the Cross Club races a bunch of people were having a few beers and decided to form an actual team. The idea was to come up with the least menacing team name possible because there's
always going to be a "Team Death Star" or "Team Demon Speed" with black and red kit or black and neon green trying to look as mean as possible.
Who's going to feel threatened by "Soft Like Kitten" in a pink kit?
Plus it's the ultimate win-win kit: If you pass someone, they got beat by someone in the pink kitten kit. If you get passed, so what? They beat a guy in a pink kitten kit. Big deal.
