No, "Escape" was a change in the way Campy brifters worked prior to it's introduction and was used on Centaur and below for 2007 and 2008. Before 2007, Campy brifters would let the rider downshift a sweep of about 4 cogs or upshift the entire width of the cassette with one full stroke of the inner lever or mouse ear. Front shifting let you shift completely across all three rings of a triple with a full sweep of either control.

Escape limited rear upshifts to one cog at a time and downshifts remained at a maximum of 4 at a time. Front shifting allowed only one click from the big ring to the middle ring rather rhan the three or four "clicks" needed in the past but lost the easy trim setting and the ability to work with nearly any front derailleur and crank.

Most of us considered Escape to be a mistake and Campy dropped it in 2009. I'm not sure but it may be back under the name "Powershift".
