There IS a downside to losing a lot of weight....

Yeah, the cost of getting a whole new wardrobe....

Some folks reward themselves with a new bike; I rewarded myself with new clothes.

I'm a cheapskate; I've worn my big clothes for as long as I could before JCPenney had this huge 80% clearance today.

Funny thing is, several people have noticed my weight loss and instead of mocking my cycling outfit, they are now asking me about bicycling ONLY because they want to lose weight. Most of them said they would like to ride, but they don't want to be killed, and complained that all bicycle seats are too small.

Even one person said that "packing a bike in the car to go somewhere safer to ride" is completely ridiculous.

I've decided that the best answer to everyone's questions is "just do it".
