Sure, I like the ability to trim, but I should be able to adjust this so that I can press through the trim position straight through to the full shift, without having to double-tap.
With your campy, each click requires a separate tap, or can you press straight through to go through several clicks, enough to shift the chain? That's what I am trying to achieve. According to spec, I should be able to adjust this for a double ring so that a half press will trim the derailleur, while a full press should shift. I'm just not sure what needs to be adjusted.

my front campy shifter has about 6 positions (clicks). It takes 2 or 3 clicks to move from the 39 to the 53 ring. I kinda like it like that. I have room to slide my cage in or out by just a milimeter or so. this comes in handy when im in the 53 up front and the 24 in back or 39 front and 15 in back (13- 26 cassette) I can bump the cage over just a smidge to allow for chain clearence (trim).
