Would you guys suggest getting a frame and groupset (I'd be looking at 8/9 speed 105 or ultegra) or buy a used and complete bike that was either 90's higher end or a newer used tiagra....
Any other ideas???

Stop putting money into the fuji. Just keep it as it is and use it as a beater once you buy a nicer bike (save up, or slowly build one over time starting with a good frame)
