Here is a Youtube of the sand pit at Saturday's cross race. I had a good start and was the 10th rider @ 15 seconds (in the black kit) through the first time. Due to my fused ankle I can't run like the other guys and have to do my special suffle. I can also be seen wrestling the bike at 2:22 into the video. On the final lap I was by myself and decided to try to ride through the sand and almost made the entire pit except for needing just 2 or 3 more pedal strokes. I decided to race on my mtb since the course had a lot of rooty single track and some gravel roads and pathways. The Master's race had 35+, 45+ and single speed all mixed together.
