Thanks! I think it's the original stem but I'm not certain. I'm a huge fan of hybrids and this is my only bike right now. I love he idea of upgrading but I'm feeling really nostalgic for my old Trek 730 and I want to ride that one a bit and see if it's not the one I really want to modify. From memory, I preferred the steel frame to the current aluminum one.
