I am paraniod, I had one stolen, and got that recovered. Even when I chain a bike up, I got eyeball on it. Other than that, it is coming inside with me, or I ain't going in. If I was you, I would have brought my bike in the house, if something was said or refuse, I would have said goodbye to the party. Which was more important? And with it being your only means of transportation! Come on man..
