Everybody's experience is different, I guess. Had, and still have, Bontragers on my 7300. Got 2,000 miles out of the back tire before I replaced it due to wear. 4,000 out of the front. Never had a single flat. Keep them aired up properly and watch what you ride through and you'll probably be ok. My Madone also has the Bontragers on it. 1,400 miles so far and no problems.
