It does get old after awhile, being congratulated for not acting like a larger person? As if the greetings would suddenly change if the greeters realized I filled my water bottle with a milkshake? Yeah, it probably would. I really dislike being treated like I'm public property who must accept a complete stranger's opinion/advice.
Anyhoo, nice to meet some new Athenas! I think you are doing awesome simply because bike riding is just such great fun!
