How long to take off after a (possible) concussion?

So yesterday I took a spill down a slippery descent. Took a corner a bit too fast and had the bike go out from under me. I landed on my right hip and my head (with helmet) bounced off the pavement and I slid several feet along the road. Afterwards I was experiencing some off the symptoms of a concussion (dizziness, nausea, disorientation, drowsiness) but they subsided after a few hours so I elected not to go to the emergency room due to a lack of insurance. Today I feel ok other than some road rash on my hip and arm and some soreness in my neck from whiplash when my head hit the ground. Thankfully even my bike made it through relatively unscathed!

So my question is this: do I need to take any time off the bike? Since the risk of reinjury seems fairly low (I don't plan on crashing again) is it okay to just hop back on? Or is that a bad idea?
