Converting LHT Alex Adventurer rims to hold Schrader valves
My LHT came supplied with Alex Adventurer rims, that fit Presta valves. The hole is too small to fit Schrader valves.
Where I tour it is not easy to get 26" tubes with Presta valves and I am wondering if it is possible to drill out the holes to 8mm to accept the Schraders.
If so, what are the pitfalls to be avoided?
