So I put on a SRAM Red FD and...
it works fine...
I've had this derailleur sitting in my drawer for months. With all the fuss over the functionality of the Ti cage...I figured I would give it a shot.
Replaced the Force derailleur that was on there. Seems to work fine for me. Put 75 miles on it this weekend and it didn't miss a beat. I don't have a barrel adjuster either.
I also went to CicLAvia today...and there was ton of starting and stopping. I shifted the front alot...and no issues.
One thing that I did notice is that if I'm crossed in the 53/26, I do get some rubbing on the inner plate that I did not have on the Force. Fixed by using the trim.
