OK OK I am not sure how I missed this thread but here is my 2 cents.
if you broke an extractor ditch them both. use a normal crank bolt Campi, Shimano, Ofmega just not that 16mm Zues crap! and then get press in plastic dust caps. it will not look as nice but dust caps are just that dust caps.
