What's the opposite of modernising?

Olderising?

Took my lugged steel, down tube shifter, biopace triple, tourer to the shop today.

I know, I could have done the clean and service myself - it was pretty clean and serviced, in fact.

But I wanted an expert to

Straighten and file off the top seat post lug that got bent inward last time I took the bike on a plane, and now scratches into the seat post

Fit a new Brooks Swift that Santa bought me last year

Fit Brooks leather bar tape to match, over the present cork, to give a wide and squishy hand position

I'm hoping this will re-oldify my 20 year old touring companion. I get to try it on Tuesday!
