Sorry about the typo -- I can't edit the thread title.

One of the guys on a weed-pulling team said that his wife frequently asks him what he does for his church. When he replies, "I sing and play music at a service occasionally," she replies, "That doesn't count, because you enjoy doing it." He assured everyone that the weed-pulling project did count. When the pastor asked me for an account of my project, I said, "It didn't count."

Note to San Diego area BFers: On Saturday 10 Dec at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the Community Resource Center is assembling Christmas baskets/bundles for client families. One of my bicycling friends is in charge of final bicycle sorting, cleanup, and fixup, and he probably could use more help, given that he will have a number of additional bikes beyond the 45 from Bethlehem Lutheran and the 65 from San Dieguito UMC.
