Central Park is to be avoided on weekends because of the crowds, unless that is what you're looking for. Its a scene. Prospect Park is my home turf and I would be riding 3-4 times a week there if I could ride. You're more likely to find a regular unorganized group in PP, whereas CP you never see the same people more than once.
