Based on a recommendation of my LBS I tried my Campy shifters with a
new SRAM X9 RD (Exact Actuation). Apparently, this setup is being used by a number of cyclocross racers in the area. The shifting is near perfect with Shimano cassettes, but doesn't work with SRAM cassettes. Of course, YMMV, but it works for me on the tandem. I'm actually running a 12-32 Shimano having replaced the lower two cogs to tighten up the spacing.
