This is similar to the noise I make while waiting for water to boil. While the french press makes great coffee, there is great value in having pot of coffee in 90 seconds with only minimal effort. We'll likely buy another Bunn. Thinking about the model that brews right into a Thermos.
Ive been using an electric kettle to boil my water...probably 2 minutes. It may be possible but Ive yet to find any coffee made in a 'coffee maker' that tastes as good as a good dark roast from a french press. But Im a little picky. ymmv.
