Not exactly. The front end lifts up quite easily not sure if that is due to the 20" wheels but it did it before the new trunk was installed with no weight so it is definitely rear heavy.

As far as the welding fietsbob, I'm not really looking to have a lot of work like that done. I'm mainly looking for a quick cheap fix to add some weight to the front so it doesn't lift so easily. Some of that may be due to me normally riding a track bike and not being used to the lower gear ratio but I would imagine with the trunk loaded up it would be pretty rear heavy no matter what.
