Well I guess I would take a couple things into consideration.

First what is your terrain, as I haven't been to the Dallas area. If you are riding in relatively flat or fast rollers then keep the Strikes.
I thought the scrim braking surface of 2010 Reynolds was really good, so I agree that it isn't much of a decision maker. The main difference is the better heat dissipation of new Reynolds, which if you are doing mountain descents is a factor to consider.

The other is looks as we all have levels of bike vanity. If you like your bike better with the Strikes as well, then decision made.
