If your seat tube is steeper, then it stands to reason that your TT will be longer to keep your reach from the saddle to the bars the same. Getting a setback seat post will make you stretch out even more.

As a general rule, set your saddle's relationship with the bottom bracket first and don't touch it. This is the anchor of your bike fit. Adjust your reach with various TT lengths, stems, and handlebars. If you move your saddle backwards in order to get more reach, you are not only extending your arms, but you are also changing your leg's relationship with the cranks and pedals.
