I imagine you'd like input from fellow sufferers. There are lots of folks here with OA/DJD, probably not so many with RA.

Treatment of RA has dramatically improved over the past 15 years. The key is to be treated by a well-trained rheumatologist. Most people do really well these days.

I can't tell from your description if you have Raymauds. If you do, I would not ride in cold weather. However, for your job I would invest in high quality gloves and winter foot ware and use appropriately.

I know I sound like the Pied Piper of Bentland, but I have pretty nasty DJD of the c spine and I loooooove my bent.
