Regarding the tubulars, use them if they still hold air and, as devinfan says, the base tape is still intact. In my experience, the sidewalls can dry out and the the tube can start to creep through the sidewall threads on some older tubulars. Try pumping them up slowly and inspect the sidewalls as well, and maybe bring two spares on any long rides if you have any doubts.

P.S. My Look was in my basement for almost 20 years before I brought it back, found BF in the process, and now I'm hooked to this place.
Thanks, looks like the tires will be ok then, I just have to glue them again. How about 25 year old brake pads, do you think I should replace them with new rubber. I don't think I can get Modolo anymore, I'd have to find new pads and black holders that fit.
