made of Raleigh 555 double butted tubing which i suspect is Raleigh labeled reynolds as the tubing decal was near identical to reynolds the frame has very cool Raleigh stamped seat stay caps double eyelets in front and rear as well as mounts for a low rider rack 2 sets of water bottle mounts one on the seat tube and one on the underside of the down tube a pump peg on the head tube down tube
built up with shimano exage lx 300 downtube shifters, front and rear derailleurs, and triple crankset with shimano bio pace (slightly oval) chainrings a decent set of wheels with the rear wheel a bit beefier than the front as all of your weight when riding is over the rear wheel the rear wheel uses an 8 speed cassette matched with the 3 chain rings in the front makes it a 24 speed touring machine with a wide range of very easy to decently hard pedaling the bike also comes with front and rear fenders already mounted to keep you nice and dry all winter long as well as a jim blackburn usa made rear rack the bike has excellent stopping power with cantilever brakes which are very cool vintage dia compe gran compe ive never seen ones like these before and id love to keep but i dont have any use for them
the bike is ridden in an classic upright touring position with very comfortable bars and raliegh touring saddle it also has an adjustable stem if the bars are a bit too high for you
the frame measures
downtube 53cm ctc
top tube 54cm ctc
the bicycle with fit anyone in the 5'4 to 6'2 area pretty comfortably
