Finally, the day has arrived. After five long days of waitng for this to arrive from Miami, it's here. It was delivered at 11:30. The UPS guy just rang the doorbell and took off. Here's a picture I got of him getting back in his truck.
Took the box in the garage and started putting it together. For some reason it took lokger than I expected. By 12:30 I realized I had no idea how to install the RD. So, I called the LBS and they said I could bring it down. By 1:15 is was at the shop and they hooked me up (for $30). Back home by 2:30. I had a soccer game to coach at 4:30 so I only had time to snap a few pictures and get in a short ride. Here she is:
EDIT-seat and bars have been properly adjusted in later pictures...kind of wonky here
It's actually a pretty comfy seat.
Taking her out for a proper ride in the morning. Should have a more detailed report tomorrow. My buddy who rides a sweet Cervelo couldn't believe how light this thing is. Wheels weighed in at 1465g. I'm guessing it's sub-17lbs. So far so good. Fit and finish is as good as ANY bike I've seen. The SRAM is going to take a while to get used to, but I like how it feels so far. Even the computer has Rossetti stamped on it. Pretty happy, but it's late and I have to get up early to ride. Hope you enjoy the pictures. If you decide to get a Rossetti, tell them I sent you.
