The powder coat appears to be very heavy. I checked the bottom bracket for a serial number but there's nothing. The paint might have covered it or I am not sure if these had a number stamped there. The sugino bottom bracket, sealed head set and lugs match those stock on a madison as well as the size of the frame. The seat post bolt, seat post, stem, bars, wheels and crank are not original to the bike. It came with a 70's 170mm campagnolo strada crank when I got it, but it would hit the seat stay so I removed it. It currently has a cheap single speed crank I had laying around and a Brooks sprinter saddle
