In P&R, somebody posted a thread about "be nice to each other," and 99 % of the replies were nasty. In A&S, somebody posts a thread about "cycling isn't as dangerous as people make it out to be; ride your bike and have fun," and then the first reply is raving paranoid madness.
Is there some kind of rule that good advice needs to be met by its opposite?

Good point.
