triplebutted, I spent a little longer adapting a rear rack to my touring bike because I had to resurrect geometry skills to get the mismatch to work. Funny thing is that it now looks like it only took 10 minutes to install and works like a treat, which I guess is a sign of success, both for you and I. The porteur rack looks great on the bike, congrats.
Are you going to mount any headlamps onto the rack?
