N3RHV here, General Class and president of the Okeechobee Amateur Radio Club, here in Okeechobee, Florida. I used to haul my HT around on my recumbent trike quite a bit, but have not worked out how to place it on my Bacchetta Strada Recumbent just yet. Would be nice to chat during the commute to and from work on the bike, but not sure what would be necessary, probably a headset with a mic and one earphone, push to talk on the handlebar and a remoted antenna for the HT....whew! Even sounds like too darn much work just typing it here....
