Bruce, I'm looking to do the same with my Uno using a Sturmey S2C. What size chainring/cog are you using? I currently live in a similar area and will be moving to the Bay Area this year and want something to make my Uno more versatile in hilly areas while gaining some flatland speed. thanks
I'm running a 48/18, but using 451 wheels, so your gear choices might be different.. the Uno uses a standard 110bcd chainring, and the 2 speed hubs use standard 3 dog drivers, so there are lots of ratios that can be used.
