It's very bike friendly...
It's no joke, the trash cans all look like this:

But being a Brooklynite, I felt really out of place. We have Williamsburg but the Tuscon hipsters are Brooklyn meets the Twilight Zone, another level--it's like trying to be uncool in order to be cool. We took a lot of inappropriate pictures but they have nothing to do with cycling so I will refrain from posting those...for now.
The next day we climbed Kitt Peak. This was an AWESOME route and climb!
Getting out there was a little sketchy because they were doing construction and there was no shoulder but once you got to the mountains the views were all there:

This is actually probably one of the best climbs I've ever done. It's not over-burdensome and the length is just right for my ability and the scenery is amazing--this is saying a lot considering I've climbed on 3 continents and done most of the major climbs in the Giro d'Italia.
The next morning was our last full day:
