possible hub problem?

After changing a damaged rear tube on my roadbike, I remounter the wheel and spun it to check its true. As the wheel spun , in addition to making the normal clicking noise, it also made a nother noise that sounded like rubbing. I checked to make sure the breaks were not rubbing and the wheel was true and it was. I then noticed the sound was coming from the hub. I believe it is more spesificly a problem with the bearings because when I peddle the noise goes away and it sounds normal. I am planning on looking at it some more and then I plan to do a hub overhaul if I can't figure it out. I have never done one before and I am looking forward to doing it because I would like to learn everything I can about maintenance and repair.

What do you think the problem is? What do u think will fix it?
