so the Child was added weight on the KS.
Aluminum, cast, does have that possibility.. the material is not forged or drawn,
like it is in other ways of making things of aluminum.
take them up on the replacement.

If you can get a Steel Hebie Center stand that would certainly bear the weight
of the Kid in the kid seat a little better ,
but the Hebie stuff is not as well distributed thru the wholesalers that most shops use.

I 'd consider a trailer better, now, with the 2 YO. since the little one is
quickly getting too heavy for the rear rack mounted seat.
[and you can add toys inside the trailer]
then you can get a cheaper single leg $10. KS, just to hold the bike up.
