Microshift TS50-7 Thumb-tap Shifter: And other microshift products..????

I was lurking ebay for some thumbies and saw these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Microshi...9#ht_959wt_762

Not much description on them in the ad. After discovering them, though, I tried running multiple searches on them, but couldn't find much web info about them or the company.....except this:

The thumb shifters appear to be offered on some stock Fuji and GMC bikes. I'm guessing entry level type stuff.

Does anyone know much about these products and/or have ever used them? I'm wondering if the thumb shifters would operate much like the Shimano Tourney style and older style thumbies wherein the rear shifter does index, but merely pushes forward or backward and no "return" to the shifter.

ooops: nevermind....I just found some info. An actual forum for microshift products.

Just the same, any input from you all would still be appreciated.
