Today I shoehorned a 44 mile ride into my activities. I rode, you guessed it, the Norman Rapide loaner bike.
The temperatures managed to hit the low 80's and I rode at a blistering 15.7 mph average speed and was in top gear most of the time. Seems the speed isn't too bad considering I'm not a racer and don't aspire to ever do so. The ride I took was from Big Pool at the start of the Western Maryland Rail Trail to the end of the trail at Pearre Station and then I doubled back on the trail.
