I used Ultremo R.1's the parts of the past two summers. I only used them when the roads were dry and still got 6 flats in 1900 miles. Only one of those was from a large object. By the time I got to 1900 miles, the flats were coming pretty regularly (i.e. the rubber was a lot thinner on the rear tire by that time).

Conversely, I'm currently using Grand Prix 4 Seasons on my rain commuter. They're at almost exactly 2000 miles right now and I haven't flatted yet (ask me again later today). I highly recommend these.
